How to Become a Member
STEP 1 - APPLICATION
Complete the application for membership. Complete all applicable fields.
STEP
2 - PAYMENT Submit payment for your first years dues in the appropriate
amount. (Use the membership classifications below
to determine your yearly membership dues.)

We accept MasterCard, Visa, and Discover. The BACM office will contact you for your credit card information.
STEP 3 - REVIEW The
BACM staff will review the application. You may be contacted to verify information
or if additional information is required.
STEP 4 - VOTE and NOTIFICATION Once
review is complete, the application will be put to a vote at the next available
Board of Directors meeting. You will be notified of the result following the
meeting of the Board of Directors.
The BACM is a Professional Trade Association and reserves the right to accept or reject membership based on its findings. Not all applicants are successful.
MEMBERSHIP
CLASSIFICATIONS
BACM has 4 membership classifications: Builder, Associate, Related Colleague,
and Affiliated Trade. Use the descriptions below to determine your classification.
Builder and
Associate Classifications - BACM
Membership: $385 per year
Members that qualify under this category are full Local (BACM), State (HBAM),
and National (NAHB) Builder Association Members and as such you may participate
in any of the benefits and privileges of these three organizations, Those including:
voting rights, product and service discounts programs, newsletters, periodicals,
networking and educational opportunities. In addition, we offer a third party
health benefits service, for which you may participate.
Related Colleague - BACM
Membership: $150 per year
To qualify as a related colleague you must be a partner, employee or otherwise
make a direct living from the Builder or Associate BACM/NAHB Member; sub-contractors
may not qualify for this category. As a Related Colleague you may enjoy all
BACM benefits and limited NAHB benefits. (Related Colleagues are not members
of the State Association (HBAM).
Affiliated Trade - BACM
Membership: $100 per year
Members that qualify under this category would pay a reduced membership fee,
must employ no more than three, and are BACM Members Only, (NOT HBAM or NAHB).
As a BACM Affiliated Trades Member you are entitled to participate in any BACM
benefit or discount program, and although participating in BACM Committees
is available, an Affiliated Trades Member are not permitted to become a voting
member or BACM Board of Director. [Remember, to qualify for this classification,
no more than three employees.]
PLEASE NOTE: Full service, Builders and
Remodelers are not eligible. Professional services such as Appraisals, Home
Inspection, Real Estate Brokers, Insurance Agents, Mortgage Brokers, Engineering/
Surveying, Architects, and Designers, are not eligible for this category
of membership. Also, suppliers, wholesale, and retail are ineligible as well.
