Our Mission Statement
The Builders Association of Central Massachusetts (BACM), founded in 1941, is
an organization of professionals involved in all phases of the home building industry.
The BACM provides a positive atmosphere in which the association promotes an
Increased awareness about our industry. We accomplish this through: Networking, Education, Legislative & Regulatory Advocacy, Community Involvement and Member Benefits.
As the BACM continues to grow, we strive to: Become the trusted leader & voice
For the home building industry, Promote the American dream of home ownership
Through Smart Growth and to Expand our commitment to community service.
Our goal is to have qualified professionals join us in becoming leaders of the home building industry.
The Builders Association of Central Massachusetts (BACM) is a non-profit trade association with a membership that represents over 250 companies such as builders, carpenters, tradesman, suppliers and other related professions involved in the construction, development and remodeling of single family homes in the 43 towns in central Massachusetts.
To qualify for membership, the applicant must have their references checked and applications scrutinized before being voted into the organization.
The BACM supports its members with educational programs & presentations regarding the building industry, on education regarding legislative matters that affect the home
building industry and with monthly networking opportunities.

Subcommittees
Our sub-committees meet once a month or on
an as-needed basis and we are always looking for new members. If you

Membership – to recruit new members, to follow-up with visitors and to ensure newly enrolled members are embraced and networked.
Marketing – to build awareness of the organization
Finance – handles investments
Golf Outing – a fundraising initiative
Home Show – create, organize, advertise and man the trade show booth 2x/year
